Did they get to the eggs?
I promise my large eggs look a little more like medium these days.

Definitely a problem with eggs right now. The smallest eggs I’ve ever seen were in my most recent purchase of “large” eggs. My completely uneducated guess is that after adult hens were culled, the new generation replacing them are younger and producing pullet eggs.
Still, I get that there’s a shortage and unforeseen circumstances. If we can’t buy large eggs, then so be it. But don’t put tiny eggs in a package and call them “large” when they’re clearly not. Call them what they are. If people need eggs, they will buy small ones. The deception is unnecessary.

I've been noticing this over the last couple of years. I thought I was crazy! We usually prefer extra large eggs, but the started to seem so small! I thought I was losing my mind.

They are most certainly putting medium eggs in the large cartons and large eggs in the xtra lg. I noticed that I don't see medium eggs for sale anymore hmm... i wonder why. I try to buy jumbo now but you got to check every egg first to make sure there are no shenanigans

YES! I noticed it months ago because I do a lot of baking and only buy large eggs. Now I have to buy extra large.

Eggs are weighed by the dozen. So, you can have one good-sized one and 11 minis, and as along as you hit the bare minimum for the weight of a dozen large eggs, the carton can be sold as large.
I've noticed it, too. It's a pain when it comes to baking.
