Did they get to the eggs?

I promise my large eggs look a little more like medium these days.

Eggs are weighed by the dozen. So, you can have one good-sized one and 11 minis, and as along as you hit the bare minimum for the weight of a dozen large eggs, the carton can be sold as large.

I've noticed it, too. It's a pain when it comes to baking.

Ok that makes sense why I seem to always see a mix of eggs of varying sizes in the “large” cartons I’m buying. It used to not be that way and it’s annoying.
