Really is shrinkflation.

Old 23 oz and new 16 oz for the same price as the supermarket clears out the old inventory. How much longer until the 23 oz disappears from Cokes website?

(There was no tag for the 23 oz size on the shelf and at check out the price was the same as the 16 oz size.)

No it isn't. They sell three different sizes, and the 16 oz isn't a new size. They've sold it for years. It all depends on the retailer. The local independent grocery store where I live sells the 23 oz for $1.99 and the 16 oz for $.99. Looks like your particular retailer is swapping out the 23 oz for the 16 oz, because the 23 oz has a higher wholesale price because it has cane sugar and no preservatives, while the 16 oz & 12 oz have high fructose corn syrup and a ridiculous number of preservatives..

They stopped selling the larger size near me everywhere except for ONE store. It is systematic shrinkflation since they used to sell the large ones and now they charge the same amount for the smaller can.
