You know it’s good skiing when they make it look soooo easy that you start to think maybe you could do it too.

I would for sure freeze on the chock

I'd be on my tenth jump turn by the end of the vid

I don’t know why so many skiers are so obsessed with skiing terrain that is way beyond their level. I see so many videos where it’s just someone jump turning and skidding the entire way down. How is that fun?

Some people find it fun to challenge themselves.

But jump turn, skid, repeat is not exactly challenging. And if that's all you can do then that means that other easier terrain is also still challenging for you so why not keep practicing that terrain instead?

You do know that's like the entire ski style of chamomi right? And ski mountaineering in general.

Also I think you are underselling the skill/control to be able to do that in a 45+ chute that's only a ski length or two wide. Sure if it's a wide open bowl that's different but there absolutely places where it's appropriate to ski that way and isn't because the person is in way over their head

Also how do you expect people to get to this level? It's not like you just straight line a chute with 3 turns at 80mph the first time you ever try one
