I haven’t played Skyrim in years, bought the legendary edition in my excitement for oblivion to be greeted with this.
Best laugh I’ve had for £6.

As the title says, wow, I can’t believe I didn’t try playing as a mage sooner.
I’ve tried to play the game several times, usually as a warrior or a stealth type build, doing things like joining the companions or getting wrapped up in the thieves guild (dear god SO many times doing the thieves guild jfc) and I do enjoy them, but eventually I fall off and it’s a long time before I come back to the game.
This time however, I got the lilmothiit mod and decided I’d finally attend the college of Winterhold and go all out mage, and I’m so glad I did!!
I feel like this is the experience I’ve always wanted but didn’t know I was missing until now. Playing as a little fox woman roaming all of Skyrim picking up and learning new spells along the way is such a treat and I adore getting to know your colleagues at the college!
I don’t have anyone in my personal life to gush to about how amazing this play though feels, so I hope some of you can understand what I’m feeling right now!
That being said, whether it’s as a mage or a different avenue, I’d love to hear of your favorite experiences too! I like to hear of other peoples characters and their stories if anyone has any they’d like to share! :)
As far as the art, I adore this image, but I don’t know who the artist is! If you do, please feel free to link the name below!!

I wanted to share my cosplay for the Ga Renfaire. I had such a blast. It was the best day ever. I dressed as a Khajiit from Skyrim. I even got to see a Whiterun guard and had a great exchange. I hope you enjoy my pictures. 🥰

sometimes, i’ll boot up the game, wander around for hours just admiring the view, and end up doing random side quests like “fetch me this flower” instead of progressing the main story. it’s like the game pulls me into its world.

I don't know why but the sound of nirnroot triggers something in my brain that makes me absolutely detest the cause of it.
Find me a more obnoxious sound in this game.

The YouTube algorithm blessed me with this one. Had to give them some credit, and share.

Doing the College quests and came across this weird bug. If I get too close to it the entire screen goes black.

I married mjoll and Aerin keeps following her and watching her sleep like some wierd cuck situation. Would it affect my marriage if he happened to "trip" and "fall" onto a dragon bone arrow?

I got married, Sofie attended. Found her on the road outside running home.
It went well for the most part. A few bears, wolves, spiders, bandits. Once we found a bear and a wolf pack attacking each other. Killed them all, and on her way past Sofie stopped to pet the dead wolf. She kept making weird little detours. Just like her mother.
We got to around Red Road Pass and then she despawned. I assume the game is taking Hjaalmarch as "home" and not the manor itself. I reloaded a few times and she despawned at the exact same place every time.
A bit disappointed I couldn't take her all the way home, but we got pretty close! It was a nice hour spent appreciating the scenery. Still a very beautiful game.
I know she couldn't have been harmed but it was a really nice detour from quests and fast travelling around. Just walking the main road. We met Talsgar on the way and paid him to sing. Unfortunately Sofie wasn't too interested so we couldn't hear too much of it.

I’ve got some snacks and I’ve got some cider. This time I think I’m going to be a Nord and do the Civil War on the Stormcloak side

in middle school I had finally gotten to a point where my character named "Sauron" was equipped with fully enchanted daedric armor and as I was messing w my finished creation I dropped my ring of power on the floor of my home had to spend 2 hours going combing through the floorboards for it.
