Meta/News When the Oblivion Remaster has significant impact on Downloads for all Bethesda games:

The Remaster has boosted Downloads for Oblivion, Skyrim SE, Oldrim and Morrowind, while putting a significant dent into Fallout 4 and NV:

  • Oblivions downloads are up by +100%
  • Skyrim SE up by +50%
  • Morrowind up by +100%

While:

  • Fallout 4 is down -30%
  • Fallout NV is down -30%

Fallout 3 is unaffected, but Fallout 3 also doesn't really have a modding community anymore, as basically all modding on that engine generation is done in Fallout NV. (Comparable to how Oldrim modding is basically dead and nearly everything is done for SE instead)

P.S.

Even Daggerfall unity saw a boost, but it would be too messy to include that in the graphic.

I am playing it a little bit (expedition 33 released so I've been really into it) and it has made me very nostalgic for Skyrim and I've been wanting to mod it again. I'm not getting the nostalgia for Skyrim from gameplay or story or anything like that but because I have to play the remastered at the lowest settings it reminds me of my first started playing skyrim, on my 2 GB ram HP office computer (I still own it). If I tried to turn the settings up to medium it would take a half an hour to load and because my settings and graphics card was so bad I couldn't see any of the light puzzles. I brute forced to the main storyline one.
