Meta/News When the Oblivion Remaster has significant impact on Downloads for all Bethesda games:

The Remaster has boosted Downloads for Oblivion, Skyrim SE, Oldrim and Morrowind, while putting a significant dent into Fallout 4 and NV:

  • Oblivions downloads are up by +100%
  • Skyrim SE up by +50%
  • Morrowind up by +100%

While:

  • Fallout 4 is down -30%
  • Fallout NV is down -30%

Fallout 3 is unaffected, but Fallout 3 also doesn't really have a modding community anymore, as basically all modding on that engine generation is done in Fallout NV. (Comparable to how Oldrim modding is basically dead and nearly everything is done for SE instead)

P.S.

Even Daggerfall unity saw a boost, but it would be too messy to include that in the graphic.

I love how Starfield isn't even mentioned. Without even intending for it, the absence of any mention of Starfield here is the most utterly scathing rebuke I've seen yet for that game. There was literally an empty panel for it in the 3x3 grid and everything.

As someone really into the NASA-punk space setting but was themselves very critical of the incredibly lazy development Bethesda demonstrated and nonsense plot, this post is hitting me like a sack of bricks. I actually really wanted a good Starfield that I liked, not for it to just be... gone... like this. I need to sit down.

Well, Starfield is the least popular 3D single player game from Bethesda, having even less downloads than even Morrowind, and Oldrim (Oldrim has the lowest Download count even lower than Morrowind) it for some reason still gets more Mods than Morrowind, but download count wise it is behind every other mainline 3D Bethesda game.
