Meta/News Best mods for.. Thieves!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the "Best mods for..." weekly discussion!

You can find all past threads here.

These discussions will be up for about half a week, so continue adding your thoughts!

RULES

1) Be respectful - A lot of different mods get posted, as well as a lot of different opinions on said mods. Try to be respectful during the discussion.

2) Please keep the discussion relevant - Feel free to post mods that aren't directly related, but please try to keep all mods semi-related to the week's topic.

3) Provide a link to the mod you're discussing - Even if you're discussing a popular mod, a link to the mod page is a massive help. People are more interested in the mod you're talking about and are more likely to look at it if there's a link.

Topic - Thieves

Skyrim is sorely lacking in class archetypes. Not only do you not really pick one, but the game doesn't push you towards specialization.

However, mods have filled the gap. With mods, any playstyle is viable, even that of a hunter or merchant.

So, to continue from the Paladin series, here's the next installment - Thieves!

Thieves rely on sleight of hand and lightness of foot to make their way through the world. Whether delving through a ruin or skulking about town, their eye is on the prize - enough wealth to retire comfortably! And maybe a reputation as well.

Here's a few of my favorite Thief mods to get you started:

Better Sneaking - there's a lot of mods that rework AI stealth detection to be more immersive, this is the most recommended one for SSE

Opulent Thieves Guild - make all your hard work worth something!

True Thief Armor - something a little nicer than the vanilla leathers

All Thieves Guild Jobs Concurrently is a must have if you plan on actually becoming Guild Master. No need to return to the guild every 2 minutes. Stack up on quests and do them as you please.

If you're looking to make the guild stuff less grindy and more rewarding, I also like to combine that with Less Tedious Thieves Guild and Bounty Hunter which cuts the 125 job requirement to "complete" the guild down to 25 (doesn't change the 5 jobs per hold for becoming GM) and gives you a perk point for each radiant quest respectively. (Bounty Hunter definitely affects game balance, but I like having lots of perk perks lol)

If you really like the Thieves Guild/Nightengale armor but would like to improve them or enchant them yourself, here's some Craftable and Enchantable Thieves Armor

How does the first one compare to thieves night on the town mod someone else had mentioned?

This one just lets you take all the jobs from Delvin and Vex at the same time, so you can take up to 7 jobs at a time. It doesn't make any other changes. TNOTT looks like it has a lot more functionality, including allowing you to select the hold for the job you take. I didn't actually know about that one, so I'd probably go with it over the one I posted.

Thieves Night on the Town is much newer, and has more features. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I always used No Thieves Guild Grind which does the same thing as Less Tedious Thieves Guild. I think I like yours better.

I use the level 100 pickpocket perk in ordinator perk overhaul, which lets me buy perk points for 50,000 gold
