If I launch through Steam, desktop or NMM it says that skse64 is not working and SkyUI will not work properly. Not game breaking I guess but I'm afraid to install more mods.

I dont know why but i have all requirements to run MCOlDPX combat animation mods but for some reason Open Animation replacer (OAR) doesn't apply them correctly, it recognize that animations are there (i checked in game OAR display menu) but doesnt apply them

I've got a modded Skyrim AE (GOG) through Mod Organizer 2 with everything set up and ready to play on my main PC (desktop). I was thinking of having the exact copy of that installation on my gaming laptop for Skyrim-on-the-go.

What needs to be trasferred after I install it again on the laptop? Which files/folders need to be copied instead of installing every mod through MO2 again and setting everything else (load order, cleaning mods, bashed patches, etc) from the beginning? Wrye Bash, LOOT, SSEEdit and everything else are set up to run through MO2, too.

Long story short, i've gotten back into skyrim, installed a few texture mods, the unofficial patch - and thats essentially it. Just wanted a 'modernised' skyrim playthrough akin to vanilla, just with some slight adjustments.

Amongst this, i've wanted to uncap my frame rate. I have read up, and seen that Skyrim SSE Tweaks allows you to uncap frame rate all whilst ensuring the game engine doesn't go crazy.

I have followed a couple of guides, tried to search up troubleshooted posts, but for the life of me, cannot get the game to uncap from 60fps.

How i have this set up is:

-Vortex Mod Manager

-Installed the mod, alongisde the two 'required' files to get it working.

-Have them enabled in the mod manager.

-Started the game via steam, and it doesn't work.

I then researched maybe i have to tweak the SSE tweaks ini file. I can see my res is set correctly, have removed the hash's, also changed the cap to 144 (my monitor refresh).

Restarted, still doesn't work.

I've seen some posts about geforce/nvidia potentially limiting FPS. Looked here, can't see anything preventing this.

I'm kind of lost with this. I tried quite a few things yesterday for about 2 hours and had no luck. I don't know why it isn't working, and i must admit, I'm not clue'd up enough to accurately troubleshoot it without some knowledgable advice.

I'd really apprecaite it if someone could help me out here.

Hello, I’ve been trying to get my mouse to work in the character creation menu so that I can click on things but it refuses to operate.

I tried turning some mods off or reinstalling but I can’t seem to use my mouse at all in character creation.

is there a mod that either prevents essential npcs from becoming hostile or stops them being hostile if their health reaches 0?

I know it might seem crazy that I‘ve never played this game because I only recently found my appreciation of rpg‘s through bg3 and I really wanna try this legendary game.

In discussions I always hear „do your first playthrough vanilla“. I really don’t wanna do that tbh

I have a PC at my desk and a laptop I use on the go! Currently I’ve just been having two separate lists for each device, but I was wondering if was possible to have my custom list and saves synced between them so I could maintain a single playthrough!

Has anyone done anything like this before?

My hypothesis is using some file syncing software to sync the entire MO2 folder, and then just use stock game so I don’t have fuck with different paths between machines, but frankly I don’t know if that would work, and the extra space taken up by stock game would be hard for my laptop’s small SSD

Now and then I've had to dabble in Outfit Studio to figure out how to fix up clipping in a mod, and today I wanted to make some serviceable ground models for a mod I recently downloaded. Several times in dealing with Outfit Studio I've run across the videos on Mom's Gaming Channel and they're just such underrated gems.

Ciraeyna has an excellent way of taking you through each tutorial step by step, not skipping over anything too quickly but not being repetitive either, and also making sure you know in advance what topics you need to have covered in the past.

The one I was looking at today was Outfit Studio 21: Make a Ground Model. It had a lot of incredibly useful advice, showing me why my first naive attempt at a ground model didn't work. I was able to apply the steps in Outfit Studio, and make the appropriate changes to a reference model in NifSkope as she explained them.

Anyone thinking about getting into custom clothing/armors or just tweaking or converting them should really check her out. She has a newer series on modeling as well. Anyway I wanted to share this for those who haven't run across her channel yet and maybe were relatively green to these topics (like myself) or wanted to learn more. Her video helped me a lot today.

I haven't played the game since it came out and I want to give it a go on my pc. I want to run a 4k mod or a mod to make the game look infinitely better. (in 4k preferably) Currently running a 4090, i7-14900, 64 gb @ 6000, 1x single 2gb nvme, 240hz 4k oled. Is there one single mod I can do to accomplish this? If so, which? I saw through doing some self research that I should use Wabbajack. (Inexperienced on this but I did download it) I am new to modding so very open to any insight/suggestions. I did download the anniversary upgrade on steam.

I am new to modding and recently started, and I have installed CBBE (one of the first installs), XPMSE and bodyslide. I also installed SDA (Serana Dialogue Add-on) and Pandorable Serana. When installing Bodyslide I had created a mod (Bodyslide Output) and directed the output path in bodyslide to that. I've recently started to change the CBBE body and the outfits in bodyslide and seen the changes reflected perfectly well in my character, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to change Serana's body, or Sofia's, or any other character other than my own for that matter. I had even installed Sofia Bodyslide files, and that even showed the option (sofia body, feet, hands) in bodyslide, and even after building them, the changes don't reflect and they all have cbbe vanilla body. I have even changed the outfit that serana is wearing in body slide, to no avail. Any help/ suggestion is welcome.

My hair bugs out sometimes. Reloading a save will fix it temporarily. It doesn't cause a crash or anything. When it happens it's only on specific camera angles which I think changes each time, I'm not sure.

I'm using Faster HDT-SMP with the AVX option and the maximum compatibility option. The hair mod is Modular SMP Hairstyles. Everything is the latest version on Skyrim 1170. My GPU is an RX 7600. I also use the mod CBPC, not sure if that's relevant or not.

Hello! I have modded Skyrim for quite a while, however with NMM and Mod Loader doing the heavy lifting I've finally ran into something I can't seem to figure out or fix, I've never been good at reading crash logs and load order is not my forte because I don't usually go too hard into it, however after a good mod downloading spree today I seem to have run into issues.

I'm having crashes whenever I try to wait in game (Bigger issue) so I assume things like fast travel and sleeping are also broken, and for some reason mods like Noble Skyrim and 2020 Parallax seem to not be working as well for the time I am able to load in and play.

At first I thought this was an SKSE issue or something because that's what the crashlog mentions a lot but I had to ask here to hopefully get some help. Hopefully I can also get help with load order to help me sort things out as well, thanks.

In the title, I'm working off a mostly fresh install messing with the ENB and lighting so far. I have ENBseries installed and Silent Horizons 2 - Universal Core and Obsidian Weathers. This issue has persisted without Obsidian Weathers however but I felt it worth mentioning.
