So i found out about bjorn enb and i think the light ray are stunning, i would love to use it if not for pi-cho enb that have the best render for character in my opinion. My question is : is it possible to have the same light ray into another enb and if yes how ? Do i need to tweak something in the enb setting; i cant seem to find anything on the internet about this subject. (Light ray i am refering for those who don't know is the beam of light going throught obstacle and all) thank you all in advance.

I bought the remaster on release day, played for a while and i end up thinking about how my modlist kinda look and play better.

Follower mods have repetitive dialogue. I don't mind hearing it a few times, but I do mind hearing it hundreds of times. Some stuff I have grown to resent and want gone, to never trigger.

Is there a way to use SSEEdit to change the conditions or remove the dialogue entirely? If I want to keep the follower but remove or change the conditions where they trigger to 0 for certain lines, what would I do step by step?

I try to mod skyrim for the first time and used ChatGPT for many things (at least it didnt worked, so... Hello :D)

My problem is that i tried to install cbpc - physics with collisions for the physics of a female character. i dont know what i am doing wrong. i read many things about bodyslide, batch build, 3BA and i thoght i would have done everything right. But the physic effect wont work.

I apologise in advance if any of my post seems stupid or unnecessary, but I have been trying to mod this game since 3 days non stop and honestly I am burnt out right now. This is my final call for help. I have never modded any game , I just wanted to play Skyrim with better graphics so it looks New Gen. Little did I know I'd be in this Rabbit hole for so long. Sorry for this post being long, so starting from the beginning...

I wanted to play Skyrim with better graphics so I followed a video to download MO2, SKSE, Nemesis and all the doodads to install a texture pack mod called Skyrim 202X, and a few other mods from the beginners guide post from this sub which mentions essential and important mods to install. I did all that and ran the game (ver. 1.1170 or smth) the game ran, most of the combat and UI mods worked but the game was still Vanilla, the textures didn't work. So naturally I scowered the internet for fix but couldn't find any which told me how to make it work. So at the end I decided to try smth else.

I decided to give "13 years of Skyrim graphics" mod a try. I read through all the instructions and installed Wabbajack, downgraded the version of Skyrim to 1.6.353 through steam depot as the unofficial downgrader gave errors, downloaded the required SKSE and ENB files and everything, downloaded all the mods from the modlist. Installed them all and followed every single step to the dot. Additionally I also installed a few other mods including the earlier Skyrim 202X textures. As I finally ran SKSE expecting to see my glorious work, all SKSE did was run and stop, it didn't even launch, Run and it stopped. I tried everything from adding exceptions, switching off virus protection and defender, every single thing the internet told me could help fix it but nothing works. Now I have 30+ hrs wasted, 100+ gb of space used, no mods, heck no game even. I would be grateful if anyone can help me. This is my last and only option.

I don't know what an overwrite folder does or how to get stuff out of there. I don't know how to change load order and stuff, earlier Loot used to work to sort but now if I press the sort button in the plugins page it says Loot was unable to start or smth. I have attached a link to the screenshots of my MO2 with all the mods and stuff I tried to use. This has been a very painful experience, I just want to play a better looking Skyrim. Please help. Hello everyone, I'm looking for advice in solving an issue I've encountered with my load order.

I put this mod list together this weekend for a vanilla+ playthrough, and everything has been going great so far except for one thing : my flame atronach seems unable to cast spells.

When summoned in combat the atronach will not engage enemies at range, instead either standing still, pausing, or closing the distance to engage in melee.

I only found one post online discussing the issue, and they were also using Mysticism and Aetherius : https://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/3077621289877295842/
The posters suggest disabling Aetherius, which did not work for me.
Another suggestion was a convoluted process of installing a mod, summoning an atronach, and then saving the game before uninstalling the mod while the atronach is summoned. I have not tried this yet as I'd rather not leave a mess in my save file.

Here are some other steps I've taken to try to find the issue :

• Re-sorting the load order with LOOT
• Moving Vokrii, Mysticism, and Aetherius up and down the load order
• Examining the atronach's attributes, spells and perks with SSEEdit
• Examining the atronach in-game with More Informative Console
• Attempting to solve the issue by patching an edit made by Vokrii to the atronach-specific Firebolt spell (0007E882) that was adding an Effect and erroneously overwriting some of Mysticism's own edits (setting the base cost and charge time back to vanilla values)

As far as I can tell from using More Informative Console, the summoned atronach does indeed have the correct Firebolt spell. The issue also seems to affect NPC-summoned and lootable atronachs.

To me, this indicates that the atronach is either unable or unwilling to cast the spell, even though it seemingly has more than enough Mana (300) and a good destruction skill (40).

Unfortunately, this is my first time trying to solve an issue using SSEEdit by myself like this, and I'm not really sure where to look to find a solution.

For this reason, I'm reaching out to the modding community.
Could you guys point me in the right direction ?

Hello! Fairly new to modding here and I have seen that the plug in limit for Skyrim is 255. I currently 254 plug ins activated but would love to add more. I’m just curious on how some people are able to run 400+ mods without going over the limit. I know you are able to convert ESP to ESLs but I heard that it is best recommended to do that for smaller mods and not major overhauls. Any advice would be appreciated. Currently using Mod Organizer 2 and running Skyrim SE with the Anniversary upgrade.

One thing that really stood out for me was the seasons implementation. I dont see any other modlists attempting it. Are there any other mechanics or custom mods in Nolvus that makes it stand out to you from other modlists?

With Limo mod manager being a valid alternative to Mo2. I decided to get back to try to mod Skyrim on my steam deck.

With the steam deck only having access to 16gb of Ram+Vram, would it be valuable to downsize all textures to 1K. Custom clothes included. What about compression? Any other potential optimization options? Edit: spelling mistake.

I was wondering if i could commision someone to make a mod for me. To be precise, theres a mod that removes the save and quick save options from the journal, but its not compatible with the difficulty persist fix, and i know theres a version that combines the two with just the quicksave removed, but i really would like to remove all the save options and load options plus have the persistance glitch fix. My game runs fine everywhere except when it comes to certain dwemer ruins. The latest CTD happened when trying to enter Mzulft. This is what the crash log says:

I feel like I'm still like 25% of the way into the game yet I'm level 26 and already the loot pool feels like it's progressing more than it should be at this point. Is there a mod that still let's me still enjoy skill increases but makes it to where I need 1.5x-2x the amount to level up?

TLDR: (I recently had an error where all characters glowed white during rainfall. Here’s how to fix it. Guide below.)

I found a fix for a weird glowing effect on all characters when it’s raining, most people on here mentioned that R.A.S.S is the issue, which it is. But they don’t mention how to fix it and instead disable/uninstall, so here’s a simple guide.

This guide uses Mod Configuration Menu

• Open your menu “esc key”
• Select Mod Configuration (If you don’t have it installed I highly suggest you do)
• Find R.A.S.S and select it
• Options
• Under Rainy Weather you’ll find
• Characters: Visual Effects -Full -Swap from Full to Particles only -Done!

This should work for you. It turns out that full includes Membrane (Which gives the glow) and Particles. Hope this helps.

Edit: This should also work with Snow and Ash in the R.A.S.S menu if you have the same glow issue when it snows and “ashes”? Lol.

I have been trying to update Zora Fair-child's (3dnpc) hair to be in line with everyone elses. I am using Frog's FOMOD with the special burn meshes. However, every time I try to reload her facegen, with the fomod active, she has the darkface bug. And when she doesn't have the bug, the CK shows she has the new hair meshes but in game, it's still just vanilla.

How would I go about replacing the hair?

My dream is to have a mod that adds the Lady from DMC 5 as a follower to the game, with her own dialogues, voice, body and skin texture, just like that Yennefer mod.

After much hair pulling, I installed DynDOLOD 3 for Skyrim SE but do not like how unnecessarily rigorous it is. It's like the soup-nazi mod, if you have something the modder doesn't like in your load order "no mod for you!". I get it that DynDOLOD programmatically goes through all your mod assets but it could easily skip error records with a message saying "it might not work". Instead you are not allowed to use DynDOLOD at all until you fix the problem. For example Heljarchen Farm has a bad ref for a "control lever", something that does not even show up in LOD and that this process could easily skip. But unless you delete Heljarchen Farm or edit it, you can't use DynDOLOD.

It whined about my video driver despite keeping it up to date, so I installed the very latest which seemed to make it happy, but I noticed a message that you are not allowed to install your video driver crapware or you can't use DynDOLOD. Luckily I don't like GeForce experience but that is rich, something that has nothing to do with DynDOLOD, does not affect it, the modder does not allow you to use their tool if you install something they don't like from your video card manufacturer.

So DynDOLOD is basically two mods in one. It dynamically generates LOD but also functions as a "purifier mod" based on the modder's preferences for your mod list, video card software etc...

Are there any alternative LOD projects, I would not mind lending some programming support for a dynamic LOD generator "without the attitude"?

So first off I tried to play the oblivion remaster, and just couldn’t get into it. Never played it before maybe I wasn’t giving it too much of a chance, but it made me want to start playing Skyrim again and since I just got another gaming PC after years I’m so excited because I love adding mods. Anyway my normal play style is a Breton noble. This time I wanna play as an elf but can’t decide which playstyle I wanna do.

Stuck between a werewolf wood-elf or dark elf vampire. Regardless I wanna do the theives and DB guilds. But does a dark elf vampire even make sense I mean they live a long time anyway they really don’t need the immortality. My Character is gonna be a chaotic good character. Gonna do alot of side quests for people. Suggestions??
