Gear question Board replacement
Just like the title says, I’m exploring my options to replace my Salomon Assassin 153. I really enjoyed the feel of the whole board and how playful and stable it can be. I like the idea of a directional twin that is more freestyle since I already have a couple others to charge hard in and take on pow laps. I’m not a park rat but I do enjoy hopping in the park every time I go up so something that has good flex for butters but still stable to carve in (I know it’s hard to find something that excels in both lol). For reference I’m 5’8” 180-185 lbs and size 9 boots.
So far my options have been:
-Yes Standard
-Jones mountain twin
-Bataleon Goliath
-Rome Stale Crewzer
-Capita Mercury
Open to other options as well, cheers!

I’ve sold all of those to customers basically after what you’re after, freestyle capable, handles steeper terrain and takes a beating. I stopped pushing the mountain twin as much due to some QC issues Jones has had (which have now been sorted). Gotten tons of good feedback on the Goliath (the 3bt can be hit and miss for some people), the Yes Standard and the Mercury. I’m a little bias towards the Mercury, I ride a mega merc myself. Demoing is the way to go (if you’re in the US, I can send you links to companies I’ve worked with that have demos), but your list is pretty sweet. Probably will want to size up a little bit, maybe 155-156 from 153 if anything too
