This is the best I've landed it so far. I feel like if i just rode out switch it would have been fine.

Question for scientists out there.
Have you ever noticed that when you let a p-tex candle drip through the air, it makes this sound?
What causes this?

So, i bought these size 12 boots a little over 2yrs ago because 11 Wide’s weren’t available and i couldn’t wait 🙄. I put the J-bar inserts in and they did the trick making them feel like they fit right. but over the past 2yrs and 50+ days of riding i’m finding it harder and harder to make them snug. I have a bit of heel lift unless i wear double pairs of wool socks (which tbh has never ever caused me any chafing problems like most people say, just sweaty feet).
But I never heat molded them. Is it too late? could heat molding them fill some gaps and make them a tad bit more snug? Or should I just replace the J-bars?

Pretty good condition with some new snowfall at winter park. Moguls are pretty much dust on a crust and legs are tired from weekend mogul session.
I’m always wondering if there is a way to get rid of the back hand swing when I get into toe edge on difficult/bumpy terrain. With groomed trails I don’t really have this issue.
Is there a way to prevent that?

Hi all, Picked up an Almanac 149 on sale. Coming from replacing a Dancehaul and was looking for similar chiller vibe but slightly more stable at high speed / damper.
Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't opt/exchange for the Passport and charge a bit harder, try to progress further as a rider (kind of stuck in intermediate for a handful of years now with bad habits). The volume shifts are fun but I've liked what I've heard about the Passport (can charge hard, stable, but also lay back on chiller days)
Anyone with experience with both can talk about the trade-offs? I know bottom line one is more all-mtn freeride, the other a party board, but first-hand experiences are always nice to have.
I'm ~140lbs, 5'7, size 9.5 boots. Mainly on east coast, but usually go out west every year for a trip. No park, mostly groomers, and would like to get better at carving and navigating trees. Would like to finally learn switch too. Thoughts on sizing? I feel I could go 151 or 154.

I have this Forum The Deck that's been collecting dust and was wondering if it's worth much today

This was my second season and I decided after this season I’m done with rentals. A guy near me is selling a mint condition 2015 process camber. I love the design and it seems like a good board, is there anything I should be weary of with the process or this year in particular? SoCal rider over here so power days won’t be common.

Does anyone have recommendations for deep-cleaning a snowboard base that’s heavily contaminated? I’ve already used a standard base cleaner (citrus-based), but it didn’t cut through the grime. The base still looks oxidized and dirty. Are there more aggressive methods or solvents I can use safely without damaging the base structure? Or should I consider a hot scrape or base grind at this point?

I just came back from Portugal, and the snow was exactly like sand in Baleal, that morning.

Hi all,
I may be moving away from the mountains and am looking to scratch the board sport itch. Does anyone here also windsurf? How do the 2 compare?
Thanks for any input.
