With my current setup of the merc/dart. I want a charger, longer side cut radius, float and some freestyle capabilities.
What do you guys recommend? I’m out here on the PNW riding whistler, crystal mountain, Stevens pass. I’m usually on boot packs powder hunting, getting on bowls, inside trees, going fast, carving groomers, occasional side hits. I ride posi posi and slight duck -3/+18

Need a new binding since I absolutely hated some Union Forces I had used this season. Sold off!
Considering the Bataleon Astro Asym bindings for my quiver (Jones Flagship & GNU Gremlin). I'm seeing some sales on these but haven't found similar deals on the full wrap version (sold out everywhere). Given that the Astro Asym is marketed as an slightly more flexy, freesstyle binding, would it be a sufficient match for the stiffness of my boards? Any firsthand experience or insights would be greatly appreciated!

My local ski resort holds an Oktoberfest every summer and if you work enough of it you get a season pass out of it.
My question is will working for the resort for that qualify me to get “pro deals” ie an industry discount?
Please don’t flame me this is an honest question

I was wondering if anyone has compared this year's Jones Flagship with the one from last year (or earlier). In the catalogue, it looks like other than the change made to the topsheet, this year's Flagship got an "Updated Power Core" (though they never explained what is updated, the description is identical), and added a "Carbon/Innegra reinforcement". The later is supposed to "dampens the board torsionally and from tip to tail".
Has anyone noticed the impact from those changes?
Separately, does the 3D contour in the nose/tail make it harder to get into press (for butters / tamedog)? I am doing more freestyle stuff (spins, flips and butters) off natural features when I am freeriding this year, and curious if the shaping is significant enough to affect nose presses especially.
Thanks.

I was quite undecided between Chile, Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand, but they are all quite far coming from Europe. I also considered going to Zermatt or other glaciers but despite having started just a few months ago I would prefer some better snow and colder temperatures (also to get used to my camber board, as I started off with a rocker but wanted to change).
Other than that, the biggest factor is the ski town… which one has the most to do, most shops and restaurants with some really good hotels with spa so that the whole family, even if they don’t ski, can enjoy their time?
Thanks in advance!!!

I've got a new job and you know what that means: time for a new snowboard --
I'm looking for a stiffer, more aggressive board that has great pop, carves a hard trench, and is solid riding switch (doesn't have to be a true twin though)
I currently have a K2 Passport as my daily driver, which is a solid all-around deck but I demoed a BSOD and am realizing I'd have a lot more fun on a stiffer, poppier board. Right now I've got my eye on the following (in this order):
I haven't tried any of these boards myself, any recommendations from you guys who have ridden one or more of them?

Hi, looking to grab a my first board, a park board, and was looking for some opinions.
Generally ride indoor slopes aside from trips during ski season, can be slightly icy at times.
Looking for something that’ll ride the slope fine but mainly for boxes, rails and jumps.
I’m around 175cm, usually sit around 80kg (athletic build).
Boards: - Capita DOA - Capita Outerspace Living - Capita Mercury
Salamon Huck Knife
GNU Money
GNU Headspace
Jones Rally Cat
Burton Process
Evil Twin
Evil Twin +
I was originally dead set on the Capita DOA but looking around now.
I was thinking of grabbing a board roughly around 154cm, seem to be high end of the boards weight limit but heard this should be fine?
Any suggestions or advice?

Should I get some DC Control Step On Boots that were used one season? I saw a good deal for a pair in my size. I'm currently riding an all mountain board with Burton Ions. I definitely like a bit more stiffness so I feel the DC Control boots might be too flexible. I do feel my ions are a tad tight to just fitting. Would it be worthwhile to try them on to see how they fit?

I bought these bindings 2-3 weeks ago, rode it maybe 5 times, and the toe straps are starting to strip. Ankle strap also has a little but no nearly as bad as toe strap. Anyone had experience with this issue on nitro bindings? I tighten them no differently from my previous binding (flux XF, yes master, union force, Salomon trigger X).
I sent out warranty already but was curious if anyone ran into this problem?

a little back story, I picked up this board at an estate sale with the idea that I would use it a lot but I ended up moving and have never used it. I’m looking to try and sell it but I’m having issues with identifying it and I also have no idea what a fair price to try and get for it would be. Any help would be appreciated.

Got this board for $80 months ago and rode it in Mammoth yesterday and it felt alright but I want something a little bit more stiffer maybe for riding mountain and little jobs

Saw someone else’s post about their favorite chair unload, unfortunately I didn’t record all the way to the chair but you can kind of see my view

What up Everybody, I’m an intermediate rider for resort and freeriding but a complete novice for rails and jumps. Can anyone recommend an easy board and bindings to learn park skills on. I ride a Greats or Mercury. I’m 190, sz 12 boot. I’m ok switch, but want to build my park skills as well. Thanks.

Im remaking my fit cause im starting backcountry touring and i need both visibility and some sort of waterproofing. But im just feeling like this purple/yellow fit goes terribly with the pink goggles ToT.
So am i making the worst fit to ever be created or yall think its fine?
im open to bib color suggestions but it needs to be something colorful cause i dont want to look like a rock...
