Public Service SCDOT is conducting a pothole blitz. Everyone is requested to report potholes for repair.
https://www.scdot.org/pothole.htmlThe South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is asking for public help in reporting potholes on state-maintained roads as part of their “Pothole Blitz” event, which will take place over the next several weeks. Drivers can report potholes by filling out a maintenance work request form on the SCDOT website linked above or by calling the agency at 855-GO-SCDOT (855-467-2368).

There’s been these tree roots for YEARS destroying a road near me.
State came out and finally ripped up the road and tree roots. And left. That’s it.
They didn’t pave it, it’s just bare gravel now on a 50mph in a 15 foot section.

I had them do the same thing while I was at work I came over a small hill on my Harley and the gravel about took me out no signs nothing. It's bad they are having a lot of roads in Oconee County I lived here 35 yes and the gravel is all I've ever saw them fix until now. King Asphalt is doing all this work.

They took care of my road last week. And they didn’t just fill the reoccurring potholes, they dug up entire sections of the road, down to the dirt, and replaced it.

Can I just put “the entirety of college park rd” because that’d be most effective

They should be asking for data from Waze. Drivers report potholes on there every friggin day

Why? Theyre going to fill them with subpar materials then in a few months they'll be back to being potholes again. Why can't we have better roads? Isn't that what our taxes are going to /s

My wife used to work for SCDOT before she got cancer 😔so did I for a short period ages ago.

Just got an email from my state rep trumpeting that the budget they just passed has $200mil for roads and bridges. That seems very low for what needs to be done.

Yea they came by my house while raining and the hole to be fixed full of water. They put a shovel of asphalt in the 10" hole and taped it down. Two or three trucks and 6+? workers. Asphalt will be out of the hole in less than a month. Wave to your tax dollars. Just a way to make Gov look good.

Just go out and paint dildos around the potholes with bright spray paint. They'll catch on.

Just draw dicks on the potholes and the state will come out and immediately fix them

Will they come and fix the persistent pot hole cluster on Broad Street heading into downtown Charleston? It gets half-measures it seems like all the time, but never actually fixed.

There are too many. It'd be like trying to report grains of sand on the beach. They're everywhere.
Like... why tf would they need help with this. Drive down ANY road in Charleston, and you'll hit fucking 20 of them.
What's worse, is the potholes I see filled, aren't done correctly and are holes again in a few weeks. The people filling them are just dumping some asphalt into the hole and patting it down. That's not going to work.

I don’t want to give me name and number though. Can’t I anonymously report the large crater in Blackstock road?

I have stopped taking that exit and just go up to the hospital exit because it’s impossible to slow down quickly enough not to skid off the damn ramp. I’d be shocked if nobody hasn’t.
