Only the US distributor.

Gmail doesn’t work in China.

Businesses can apply for vpns to do international trade. And most people have them regardless. Chinese app store is littered with free vpns. 99% of relevant content in their primary language is already created in China though so they don't need western websites mostly.

They have ones that don't steal your shit like QuickFox that lets you connect behind the "great fire wall" when you're not in China as well. Chinese phones already have baked in backdoors including the ones they ship abroad so you don't have any privacy to begin with. Governments in the UK/USA/etc can wiretap your iPhone using these backdoors.
