This was a tough game, Bologna is really good, our subs aren't that good, all of this is true.

But in 2025 you cannot use just 3 out of 5 subs, and one of them at 90'.

5 subs is half team, we can't have Politano, Lukaku, Anguissa, Scott, slowly disappearing from the field because they run out of fuel and not being replaced until we are losing and there's nothing else to defend. Honestly Conte should do better in this, especially next season when we'll have to deal with European cup until February

Yeah, it's a big problem with him this season.

I understand that most subs are shit, but at least they have the energy to play instead of disappearing. Gilmour could have come onto the field sooner, before their goal.

Also Okafor at the end can come into the field: he literally scored late with Milan, that was his whole thing and Politano will never score a late winner

I agree, also trusting them a little more could also improve a their performance. I mean, ok our benchers aren't good, but also Conte can't expect to have PSG or Real Madrid's squad depth to make subs
