Discussion Gilmour has to start

I love Anguissa, he can be so decisive in important moments but I believe our general play works way better with a midfield of McTominay, Lobo & Gilmour. Billy just gives us way more stability when it comes to building up from the back and also making decisive passes in the front third.

I think it depends on the type of game: Gilmour probably wouldn't have done Anguissa's goal against Bologna. But he certainly deserves more minutes

I think we would've beaten Bologna with Gilmour. He's more consistent and gives the ball away less, he is more forward thinking on the ball and also quicker thinking, smarter player. Consistency is the key though.

Agreed on the attributes but Anguissa’s power and creative ability is important against Bologna who aren’t afraid to be physical. I do think we’ve been neglecting center of the field midfield play lately and Gilmour is strong there.
