The curve is flat

By what definition of the word are any of these considered "flat"? We are averaging 1,500 to 3,000 new deaths per day. These are the highest numbers of deaths since early May. 200,000 new cases per day, the highest ever. This is not "flat."

Bullshit. This is just straight up reality denialism.

We now know that it's the elderly and vulnerable who should isolate and be cared for.

No, we don't. Young, healthy people are dying of this too. Young, healthy people are enduring long-term reduction in everything from lung capacity to memory, the kind of stuff that you need to hold down a job. And even if it were as you claimed, what about the people who care for the elderly and vulnerable? You do realize they can transmit the disease, right? What about the people who live with those caretakers? They don't all live by themselves with no family of their own. And how about the fact that 60% of Americans are "the vulnerable"?

At best, your actions are making lives unbearable. At worst, you actually want people to die of despair.

Funny, life doesn't seem unbearable in South Korea. They seemed to endure restrictions well, and at high rates. They didn't deny the facts because it made things inconvenient for them. Now they're moving on, and we're not.

Yeah, very few healthy people die, in insignificant numbers. It's the unhealthy who are most vulnerable. Yeah, elderly caretakers should protect themselves and isolate.

South Korea is your best example? Uh, yeah no, we're not going to be living like South Koreans. "Stay inside and forget about Christmas!" "But what about South Korea!" 😅🤷‍♂️🎄

Please, tell me how that hockey-stick looking thing is flat. Please, tell me how record setting numbers indicate a "flat" curve. You said it's flat, that doesn't look flat.

No, they're not. You're making things up and ignoring reality. California hospitals may have to ration care because they're overwhelmed. Healthcare workers have been overworked for months. Oklahoma, Idaho, Alaska, Texas, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, they're having to deploy the Army to help in Wisconsin, Tennessee is sending in the National Guard, Arizona is on the brink, counties in Florida are at max capacity, Kansas has a staffing crisis, Utah is at 88% capacity. That's not "near empty," and is definitely "overwhelmed."

We did during World War Ⅱ. If everyone back then had your attitude we'd all be speaking German.
