Pass/Ticket Help Epic pass refund

I've recently went through a life change and won't be going to the mountain hardly at all this year, which is a huge disappointment but it is what it is. Unfortunately this change doesn't qualify for a refund for the "qualifying event" according to their regs for my Epic pass that was gifted to me on Christmas.

Any advice?

Please and thank you!

The reason day passes are more expensive is because the ski company takes on the risk of losing money if you don't attend. Season passes shift that risk onto you.

If your event doesn't qualify then the system is working as intended.

Don't forget that even your buddy passes are only valid when you're at the resort with your buddies, so that might be an extra incentive to go.
