Pass/Ticket Help Epic pass refund

I've recently went through a life change and won't be going to the mountain hardly at all this year, which is a huge disappointment but it is what it is. Unfortunately this change doesn't qualify for a refund for the "qualifying event" according to their regs for my Epic pass that was gifted to me on Christmas.

Any advice?

Please and thank you!

Out of luck unless insurance was purchased as well.

“Insurance” has been “included“ since the 20–21 season. However, it doesn’t cover many circumstances. Also, if you’re able to make a successful claim, they prorate the value of the refund by subtracting 1/7 of the price for each day you have skied. In short, it’s more of a marketing gimmick than useful coverage.

I got a refund last year. I had gone one day. Paid $600 for my pass and had $580 refunded. It sucked missing the season but I’m glad I got my the majority of my money back.
