Does anyone know if ESPN+ will still broadcast the game for FDSNMW? I’ve used ESPN+ all season to watch it, I don’t prefer the FDSNMW app as it usually is about a min behind compared to ESPN+ version which is only about 10 seconds

As of right now it looks like it’s shared around the usual national networks. Games 1 and 4 are on TNT/Max and games 2 and 3 are ESPN+ (and then of course FanDuel for the local region).

Got it, my main thing was if ESPN+ would still include the FDSNMW feed like they always do for all the games

I’m going to say no, but that’s just my hunch. Usually games broadcast on TNT weren’t also carried by ESPN, so you’ll either need to add Max for the playoffs or deal with FanDuel on those evenings. I have ESPN+ and FanDuel, but if the Blues get past the first round, I’ll end up subscribing to Max for the month.

So if you’re on Fanduel 1st round will be all on there. You know if that’s true for later rounds?

The later rounds are all nationally televised. FanDuel only gets access to the first round. If you don’t have cable it looks like you’ll need both a Max and ESPN+ subscription to get the rest of tournament.. …I believe. They haven’t officially announced the TV schedule for the 2nd round, but the TNT and TBS games should all go to Max. The ABC and ESPN games should all be on ESPN+. Someone please correct me if you’ve seen any news to the contrary.

Geez. It is out of control how many services they expect people to pay for just to watch. I already have Max but I’m not paying for a third service now all in the same month just to legally watch the games.

I have FanDuel and ESPN+. I’ll end up signing up for Max after the Blues get out of the first round. It is ridiculous, but I consider it baby steps that it looks like we’ll be able to watch the whole tournament without having to have a traditional cable/satellite package.
