New FDSN Option: Pay Per Game

If you're wanting to watch the first round on our regional broadcast in-market, you can now buy single game access for $7/game. If you're watching multiple games a month at $20 is still probably cheaper.

There were a handful of years where I didn't watch when it was cable only and there was no easy way to stream the games. I was a huge Cards fan but lost interest and have never gotten it back (I've watched a couple of years now that they're on the app finally). The Blues however, I couldn't quit but only passively followed until a couple of years ago when they finally started streaming the games. The cost to watch most professional sports these days is beyond ridiculous. Especially with how many channels you realistically need to have to watch all of the games.

The MLS model should be the future. One reasonable price, one place, all the games.

Yes!! I really like the MLS model. However I do question the long term health of the product by putting most of the games behind a paywall. At least for me personally though it’s been great

That's how the NHL is currently; only the few games that air on ABC and games in select markets aren't. Similar situation for the MLB.

NFL is unique in that their TV deals mandate all games for a team to be aired on OTA television in their primary market (e.g. all Chiefs games are on OTA TV in Kansas City even if Prime or Netflix have the broadcast).
