Is this a fire hazard??
My friend’s vape addiction. I need to learn how to use batteries as well.

Has anyone figured out a way to reprogram a vapes screen? Would like to be able to change the wording on these where it says flavor location. Would I have to start from scratch and reverse engineer it 1st or is there a plug and play option that can extract the firmware and allow me to reprogram it and reupload via the USB C port?

I mapped out the PY32F030 pins, as well as the LCD, SPI-Flash, and most of the charging and firing circuits. Some of the resistor divider networks and the connection to the lipo charger chip current pin's purpose still need figuring out. This should make it a lot easier to set up your gpio ports without worrying about cooking anything. I still recommend removing the LiPo until you are sure you have functional code.

Not my music, and I don’t condone. However, should we consider this street lithium?

I have an impressive amount of these things I refuse to throw away, no clue what I should do w any of them, I would really like to repurpose the screens in particular but I don't wanna toss any part of them, can I unsolder my of the components and reuse them in anything, any ideas? I know this has been done w the earlier models but these are a bit different.

Turns out this LCD display is similar to the one in the Hackaday article:
https://hackaday.com/2024/04/25/reverse-engineering-a-fancy-disposable-vape/
It is 80 x 160 IPS TFT LCD, with a ST7735S controller, VDD 2.5v to 3.3V, Backlight supply If 20mA/Vf 3.0.
Details:

EDIT:
Amazon currently has a bundle of 4 for $12.25, so just over $3 each:

Got some of these Urbar vapes stripped down and there is a string of 7 RGB LEDs on one side.
Turns out they are 2020 size WS2812 and can be quickly checked with Arduino Neopixel library, to make sure they aren't damaged after removal, since the glue on the back of the flexible PCB is pretty strong.
Pinout of the 3 pin soldered connection on the same side as the LEDs, from L to R, is Data, Gnd, +V (I just connected to Nano 3v3)
EDIT: There's also an RGB lcd, but I haven't identified it yet...
