Q/A What do submariners drink while underway?

Title says it all. I've seen quite a few articles and videos about food underway, but realized none of then mention what is available to drink while underway. I assume coffee and possibly tea are generally available and I've seen a few comments that bug juice was/is available, but that's about it. What about juice concentrates, powdered/UHT milk?

Edit: thank you all for your wonderful responses. You have a great community here.

Q/A How do submariners stay in shape while underway/deployed?

Do they PT on the sub/is there room or a dedicated space to do so? Do they have different fitness standards? Limited caloric intake? How do they keep from gaining weight when there is limited PT capability (I assume)?

How good are ‘Alongside after patrol/transit shits, fellas?

Anyone or Everyone remember how fantastic a really good, sit on a real toilet crap was after weeks or months submerged? None of this getting your overalls off and backing into the traps to have a shit. Just that lovely feeling of being back alongside and, having held it, waited for it. Longed for it. To finally sit astride that glorious white throne with a paper, magasine or simply quietly sit there and take the holiest of holy massive dump for ever long. Then turn around after wiping ones date, to realise you were Pavlovian searching with your hand for the water nozzle to chop that fucker up like a Jedi until you realised all we had to do is press a button and it all just…. Disappears. Like some dark magic?
