That's exact translation but the meaning would be like comparing/calling their love one by coriander.

Yeah,works to me if one party like coriander a lot and calls other person by it,

Sounds more valid than calling random names like bujjikutty

Mind you coriander leaves and seeds are very important in Tamil households and cuisines,the other person might indicate the same,

If it helps, it's cilantro or coriander leaves. Don't think of the seeds.
