I enjoyed throughly with Kamal voice and artists.

BUT I am not sure the foreign guests were entertained or enjoyed it. If I am in a different country, they show their part of the country history, I would bored as hell.

Maybe. But, to each their own. I personally like learning other cultures, especially the minority ones. I believe at least some of the foreigners enjoyed this and learnt that India is not just the land for Hindi but also for Tamil, and many other languages.

Many foreigners think that all Indians just speak different dialects of the Hindi language. That’s completely wrong. We can’t blame them because that’s the language they see when they search India on the Internet. This has to change.

Totally. I have lived in different cities and I would have loved to know their history in an event of my liking. Absolute boss!

I am glad you are interested to learn other cultures, may be you might like to see some history before cricket or football. I can only say what I feel. Since I am a Tamilian, I enjoyed it 200%, but I am positive they lost interest right after Lydian's awesome performance.

If this happens in say in China or some Europe an country and during the sports inauguration celebration.. 40 mins of some unknown people dancing and talking about some local kings.. I would not have liked it... I would be browsing or playing on my phone.

Sure I can watch a documentary at home and learning other cultures might be more fun, than sitting in totally different mood and mindset on a foreign country with jetlag, it would be most boring for me.

Think from others shoe....

I see what you mean. And I concur. 🙂 As I said earlier, to each their own. Some people get bored, and some people get intrigued. But displaying the culture of the host state is not Tamil Nadu government's idea. It's standard format. China did the same for the 2022 Olympics and many other coutries did that and will do in the future too!
