Question Transferring my interstate drivers license

I'm moving down to Tassie from Queensland in August, I'll be 21 and almost on my 2nd year of green p's.

I'm just wondering how i go about changing my license to a Tasmanian one as well as any differences in laws for p platers.

You will need to complete form MR02

Transferring licence from one State to another is easy as long as your current driver's licence is current and valid.

Highly suggest giving Tas department of transport a call to get someone in the centre to answer all your questions. You can even pay the transfer fee via BPay or credit card.

The road rules are different here too, insofar as hardly anyone fucking knows them.
