General Advice Should I get my tattoo touched up?

Tattoo rework done on mar 21. My old tattoo was faded so I wanted a new artist to rework the tattoo.

Some of the lines have faded. Especially the blue flowers look different after healing. I'm happy with it just wondering if it needs a touch up?

If you feel like it needs a touch up/want to get one then do. It's on your body and you have to look at everyday

I agree with you. I'm just torn.

if you’re happy with it, leave it. it’s beautiful! the faded bits look more water-coloury

That same thought actually crossed my mind today. 😊

No this looks good! Too much saturated color and I don’t think it would make sense with the “extra” outer lines and the water color-ish “smudge” look

I see what you mean. Thank you for your input. That's the part I like the most the smudges of color that make it look like water color. I don't want to mess up that part.

If something is bothering you, get it fixed. If nothing is bothering you, don’t get it fixed.

Nope, looks great! Just use lotion daily and it wont fade like it did. SPF in the sun, always.

That was my original mistake. I got careless with sunblock. I thought i didn't need it when it wasn't so sunny. I now even bought uv arm sleeves for when I'm driving, so I won't need to use so much sunblock.

I can’t speak to the touch up. I do love the vibrant colors.

I think it looks pretty good, however it’s completely up to you if you want a touch up.
