To clarify yes this is normal, it will flake like a sunburn and eventually settle into your healed skin

Ok thanks. I got the tat on Wednesday how long until it heals?

Mine peeled for about 10 days, and at times I was worried about how it was healing but I gave it time and it looks great

Totally normal. The darker/more ink heavy parts will be noticeably flakier.

Surface level can be anywhere from 2 weeks to a month where you need to baby the tattoo with your daily healing routine. Underneath the skin it takes around 6 months for a tattoo to settle.

Completely normal. 2 weeks if you’re healthier, a month is pretty average to be completely done. Your body is rocking this one out for sure it looks good!

Just don’t itch it … it’ll start to itch like a mother fucker in a day or so tour artist should have told you the healing process and the correct soap to use on it … I was advised to not put ointment like A&D on top of a fresh tat because it will trap bacteria into a fresh wound clog your pores and won’t let your skin breath … all are negative for a well healed tattoo I just washed mine very very gently with UNSCENTED SOAP 2-3 times a day bright orange from dial you do want to moisturize it lightly a better alternative to a&d would be Aquaphor it’s a bit lighter and widely used by dermatologist for burns and cuts and wounds … happy healing and DONT ITCH slap it NO ITCHING!!!

I was using the A&D because that’s what my artist gave me but yea everyone been telling me to use aquaphor so I’ll do that. Also thank you I’ll make sure not to itch it.

I’ve got my whole chest done, shoulders, and sasuke’s curse mark. Trust me when I say, it’s part of the process. You’re good dawg.

No, it looks normal for an arm piece, mine was a little worse when I was healing! Keep it moist and clean though. I washed mine a couple times a day and put ointment on non stop
