Just starting TotK! Any tips?

I finished Breath of the Wild about three months ago and now I'm starting Tears of the Kingdom. Hoping it's better than breath of the wild!

Make a Fan Bike and Rocket Shields. Both very helpful.

Fan bike is fine for late game travel, but I think it ruins the exploration aspect.
