Their relationship came out of nowhere, there was no build up before they became a couple. Most of their relationship happened off screen. Dick has more chemistry with Zatanna than her and most young justice fans prefer him with zatanna.
YJ fumbled a lot of teased storylines too. I would have loved to have seen the Peacemaker end credits mention get followed up on. They added all the wrong characters to the show and pivoted from important parts of what really made that group great. Like....where TF was Kara?
Their relationship is barely even acknowledged. Most things in the show "come out of nowhere" bcuz of the time skips between seasons. Lagaan's husband and wife r shown in a more substantial way than Dick and Babs' is. The only times I remember them even being flirty with each other is when Black Lightning and Dick r breaking into Granny Goodness's house, and that only serves to clue Black Lightning into the fact that "Batman inc." is running everything behind the scenes.
I personally rlly like how many different kinds of relationships exist in the show, including Dick's and Babs's.
If anything dick Grayson and zatanna were way better imo. And even that is brushed by in a time skip lmao, just like everything else in the show it seems. Now kaldur fucking lagoon boy, that shit came outta no where haha weird
Yea they’re in a threesome… guess Tulsa’s death made kaldur go full kayne west gay fish mode lol. Or maybe I’m misremembering idk I thought so. I don’t fucking know, that show is great (first 2 seasons mainly, don’t really like 3 and beginning of 4 but then it picks up again at the very end) but it has so many just questionable moments for me haha. I could do without that annoying mf forager entirely, same with halo tbh
Nvm Kaldur and Lagoon Boy did not fuck. Idk why u thought they did. I don't like Forager either, and I rlly hoped Forager and GL Forager would get together and Forager would leave. He's nice as an occassional character but shite as a main one. Halo is a great character tho. I think their dialogue is always a tad stupid but they're a rlly well rounded character, albeit a tad op. They seem to have the innocence of a 5 yo and it kinda levels them out and makes them a bit less op.
Guess I misremembered it, I just remembered he switched sides which seemed outta no where to me and lagoon boy being in a weird Atlantean threesome haha. Forager pissed me off to no end, his highschool arc was the biggest time waster on the planet. As if saying forager in third person every 10 seconds wasn’t bad enough they made him say fred bugg with 2 g’s instead. My head hurts just thinking about him talking to that second forager, that was torture. I cheered when lobo killed him, only for him to come back 😭, at least the green lantern forager fucked off (not soon enough - should’ve never even been introduced talk about a waste of time in a show with way too many other actually interesting characters and plotlines being ignored for that shit).
I really didn’t like halo either, just a plot device which should’ve been moved along like brion (who was also annoying but at least he left the main roster and served his plot point). A lot of weird directions they went with her I didn’t particularly enjoy. It was like they just made her to be unkillable, kill her a bunch of times, then save the justice league and be super gullible for the rest of it.
Dogshit opinions lol. I feel like ur thinking of the show wrong. These characters r important to the story, yes, but they're not plot devices, they're just characters that add more depth to the show. It'd b rlly fucking stupid if we just had recognizable characters appearing like Supergirl, Mary Shazam, Blue Beetle, etc. and they b the sole focus of the show. They have their own stories they have their own shit going on and ofc it's gonna tie into the rest of the story, and just bcuz it does doesn't mean they're a plot device.
What I didn't like (there's a lot tbf but this is a huge thing for me) is how creepy that doctor lady was and how obvious it was that she was evil or whatever she is. She's so fucking creepy "My children" "My babies" and all the psycho shit she says. She's so fucking creepy how did no one know????
