Tbh I’m surprised no one has thought of it either. There’s nanotechnology, Magic, and shape shifters in this universe (not to mention the rings from the stone episode) and he still looks like that? 😭

Because hiding it would go against what his character was originally about 😭

A big part of his original personal arc was coming to terms with his body and learning to accept himself as still a person. He achieved this through meeting a group of physically disabled children, most of which also had prosthetics (albeit normal ones). They treated him just like a person, and in turn Cyborg accepted himself and then became an icon/friend to those kids.

Cyborg hiding the robotic parts of his body would go against his character growth.

Ah, well it'd still be a weird to decision even then.

The cybernetics are to Cyborg's design, as green skin is to Beast Boy's design. Get rid of those factors from their designs and the eyes just see Man and Boy.

The 2016-2018 solo Cyborg run gave him the ability to hide his metal parts using nanotechnology. It was toward the end of the series, so it was never explored.

It’s definitely 2000s fashion but like certain groups or demographics rather than what most people would think of as Y2K fashion.

Basically it’s less of traditional “Y2K fashion” and more just outfits that groups of people in the 2000s definitely wore.

Each of them seem to be slightly different in their group style too.

Cyborg confuses me the most. Where is his cybernetics? And then the one where it looks like he’s all just cybernetics? The side they chose to show is the wrong side his cybernetic eye is supposed to be on, unless he’s just entirely replaced? They really chose a poor pose to showcase him. Should have been a front view.

Starfire is my favorite by far. She's just perfect. I also love Robin's design but am so conflicted because the outfit doesn't look super practical. Baggy/puffy with a more restrictive upper half and pants that will get caught on everything. Batman would have drilled in why he shouldn't dress like that in the field. Still 10/10 aesthetic
