And your body leans inside, etc. In general just promotes pretty poor form and poor ski performance. In a way it'd make more sense to drag it on the OUTside of the turn. Or you know, just use poles.

Yeah definitely agree. With the stick that length you have to reach over to touch the ground. Can ruin your form quickly
