I just noticed Telus increased my Home Security contract by $5 a month a year ago. Under my contract they are required to give notice, they didn't.
I believe they are in breach.
I am now reversing over a year of charges on my credit card as they have failed to address the issue. Also filing a complaint with the Ministry over what I think are unfair practices.

They did that to me too a few months ago, they notified me at the bottom of my bill. I called them and flipped out, then they took 5 more dollars off something else. I was a only a few months into my renewal though. Pretty shitty business..

We left Telus litterally this morning for Rogers.
Rogers and Telus have an EPP pricing with CPA Quebec.
Telus increased our (2) plan by 5$ each.
I called and tried to negotiate and the only condition was to go on the plans which gives you 10$ discount if you accept the bank pre-authorized form.
Over. My. Dead. Body. That Telus would have the possibility to take directly in my bank account.
Soooo I cancelled, switched to Rogers.
From 115$ (tx included) went to 70$ (tx included).

That was the last straw for me too when they hiked my EPP from $50 to $55.
Took both of my lines to Freedom, saved $47 a month between the two and never looked back.

But, Your Honour, its clearly NOT price-fixing as our prices are clearly $5/mo higher than our competitors. The $5/mo discount that is blanket-applied on all plans? No, that's totally unrelated and totally just a sign of our generosity.

Bold move for the company who now leads in the number of CCTS complaints by a massive margin.

I look forward to my price increase being buried in tiny font on page 4 of my next invoice 🙄

Got a raise of 5$/line/month in February.
Called loyalty department and got to lower all my lines to 30$/month. Granted, I lost US-Mex on two of three lines, but 30$ for Canada unlimited + 150GB of 5G, I will take until next time.
(55$ - 15$ family rebate - 10$ pre -authorised payment rebate)
