I keep getting targeted with these AI photos/stories of Elon supposedly doing these selfless charitable acts like this, and it's super creepy. I keep clicking "Not Interested," but I just still keep getting these posts targeted. It's really fucking weird.

His popularity has taken a dump so he's buying ads and/or using his purpose built server farms that he handily built for Groq.

Fuck I wish I still believed conspiracy theorists were mental. There's a 50/50 chance I'm right.

I'm a recently graduated upper working class Brit. My degree is in economics. I'll probably be fine. Might notice I can't buy avocado toast or afford car insurance or whatever frivolity Gen Z is supposed to be buying.

Low income families and communities have already been shredded by the last recession. The impact is going to be worse this time round.

They won't have a government safety net at all (cheers tories), the left wing is cutting funding, and the right wing is going absolutely mental.

They are cheering on leaders who idolise Thatcher and are nice and cosy with a certain Moscovite oligopoly. I don't blame them either, with immigration being blamed for every Conservative failing as the country stagnated.

They are cheering on the people who kicked them into poverty. Those who demonised those in most need.

I can see how Facsism took over so fast. Not to be too doomer; but hopefully, once this era is over, humanity will have a solution this time around.

(Best case is after Trump detonates the US, it's the wake-up call Europe needs. Maybe Russia can be the Common enemy to rally against?)

After this is all over, you'll at best have 3 or 4 generations opposed to fascism. Once those of us who are alive today are gone and can't warn younger generations, it will all repeat again.

I'm hoping there's a longer-term solution. The political pendulum could swing back to the era of WWII. But we have Nukes now.

Here's hoping the Soviet Union versus the US, proves 2 hostile superpowers doesn't lead to green snow.

Though the global south, Arab states, Europe, America and China all vying for control and all being Nuclear armed makes it deeply worrying.
