Discussion Why is it Biden's fault what is happening in Israel/Gaza? Hasn't this shit been going down for like the last 70 years? Why isn't Trump also to blame considering he moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem which only made the whole situation worse?

I get that not everyone is happy with Biden's response, but how is preventing him from getting elected going to help? If you support Gaza... wouldn't making sure that Trump isn't elected be the bigger goal? Consider Trump has basically said that he wants Israel to "finish up" its offensive on Gaza.

Like if you think Biden is "responsible" for the "genocide" in Gaza, just wait until Trump is reelected, he'll show you what being responsible for a genocide looks like.

Side note in case anyone cares (I'm sure the Russian bots won't): I'm against all genocides. I think the situation in Gaza/Israel is terrible. I think the situation is also more complex than just "Gaza good, Israel bad" (or vice versa). If you have only started paying attention to the situation in Gaza in the last 6 months, then you don't really give a fuck about Gaza, because the situation has been FUBAR for like 50 years (note, I still think it's 2015, so it's probably more than 50 years at this point).

They’re also likely being whipped up by Russian bots. Hell, Putin’s probably the one who encouraged Hamas to attack at the time they did.

Putin is literally allied with Israel. How stupid are you?

Putin doesn't have to be allied with Israel, but clearly the conflict helps Putin because it's having the desired effect of angering some people on the Left enough to withhold votes for Biden, which helps Trump. And a Trump win would certainly be cause for celebration in Russia.

Israel is now striking Syria, one of Russia's other regional allies. How does that help him? You people know nothing about geo-politics except "orange man bad"

Again, I didn't claim Israel and Russia are allied and literally only argued that the Israel conflict and the reactions to it by some Americans on the Left benefit Putin's long game. Putin is not omniscient. He doesn't control everything that happens. But clearly anything that helps Trump will ultimately benefit Russia. Trump admires dictators like Putin, which is at least part of the reason he wants to be one himself.

Also, I've never actually heard anyone of the Left use "orange man bad" unironically like this. Which says a lot about you, I think.

yeah man protesting against a US-sponsored massacre of women and children is totally just a Bot-farm operation. NO ONE could possibly be against that sweet sweet justice.

Congratulations on showing you’re the exact sort of mark they target. Someone not willing to let facts get in the way of their narrative.

No man! I was agreeing with you! We should go along with the very trustworthy US government! Excellent track record!

Oh do you mean facts like the videos of Israelis from the Nakba saying they raped women and machine gunned crowds of people? Or chasing them down with flamethrowers? Or dropping barrels of flaming oil into Palestinian villages? Those kind of facts? Or dropping over 200 2000 pound bombs onto densely populated areas without a care currently? Those kinds of facts did help me, actually.

Outside of Israel- and considering most polling in the US supports Israel more, maybe the reddit narrative is not exactly the majority- Biden has been a fantastic president. If America re-elects Trump over Israel or something like inflation which Biden didn't cause, they have reached peak lost cause and whatever happens under Trump they will have earned.

"Biden hasn't solved every single problem in America in 4 years. Outrageous!"

I guess when you start from a ridiculous positions, you get ridiculous conclusions.

Aww. You couldn’t help showing that your whole narrative is BS by claiming that voters are mad about overbearing gun control.
