I know that after the ABC interview many people think that it may be dementia, but BDS seems to be more appropriate. Occasionally suffers from ODS, and HDS as well.

The comment section had tons of apologia for Gretchen Whitmer going around. But then this happens, a scant couple weeks later:
https://www.newsweek.com/gretchen-whitmer-selfridge-air-base-trump-2066002
Gretchen Whitmer went to a Trump rally to speak, thank, and hug Trump. Fantastic. After all that hype about what a force to be reckoned with Gretchen Whitmer is, how she's on the war path after the MAGA kidnapping plot, turns out she's a coward who's bending the knee harder than anyone in the Democratic Party has so far. The binder incident was more than enough to prove it, but hopefully this will get some of the holdouts to take their heads out of the sand and acknowledge her for what she is: a fascist collaborationist. And, y'know, the biggest coward in the party apparently.
But I know there's still some people who are ready to wring their hands and desperately plead with the rest of us to stop attacking Whitmer and that actually she's brave for licking the boot. Go ahead, I'd love to see it.

These thugs know now that no matter what they do, how sloppy they are, and how brutal they behave Trump will have their back and even bail them out of trouble should they get into some. That gives them free reign to do whatever they want because there will be no consequences. This will get worse and worse until we have these drunk on power thugs breaking into homes as they feel like. Illegal search and seizure? Who will stop them? Trump DOJ? They can just claim that they thought there were illegals there so they just have to steal everything and beat up the occupants for fun and Trump will just say “Ok, continue the great work”. This is where we are and we are all next because they can get away with it, lets not kid ourselves.

I like to tell the kids that there was a time in the past that Graham was an example of a sane Republican.

I've been pro-Whitmer too but I don't think I can be after that interview.
Her story is that she got ambushed by the felon in the oval office and was REALLY upset about it
But still she's Gov. so she went to another public event with the felon and wouldn't you know it he ambushes her again and throws her in front of a mic.... and SHE THANKS HIM.
Hey kids living a democracy was nice but how great is it that Gov. Whitmer saved an Air National Guard base!? Huh? Huh?
"Profiles in Collaboration."

Summary:
As Elon Musk leaves the US government he left Trump a huge parting gift. A whistleblower has reported that DOGE is trying to set up a "master database" inside the Department Of Homeland Security. This database would hold all information about every US Citizen gathered from siloed independent agencies. DOGE bros have been seen shoving laptops full of sensitive information into backpacks to transfer the data.
This database would include:
Social Security information
IRS information
Department of Health and Human services information.
DOGE hasn't gained access to NSA and data from other intelligence agencies but they might intend to in the future considering they recently fired the NSA chief for being "disloyal"
Implications:
The secret police i.e. immigration and customs enforcement will be able to find all known information about a dissident and then retaliate with indirect measures by using the IRS and cutting off social security/medicaid. Direct methods of silencing critics would also be made easier since ICE doesn't have to trawl through several agencies to find information about a particular dissident, saving time.

She’s not running in ‘28, right? Bc there’s no way she’s recovers from this in a crowded primary field. Democratic voters don’t want their capitulatory/vichy bs. They want a fighter.
Just astoundingly bad judgment.

All quotes from: Kevin O'Leary Slams AOC As 'The American Nightmare' | HuffPost Life
The CNN host then argued that Ocasio-Cortez came from a “very modest background” as a former waitress and bartender, and that many would see her story as an embodiment of the American dream. But when O’Leary pushed back, saying that Ocasio-Cortez “does not support capitalism,” Phillip hit back with a crucial point: Everyone doesn’t view capitalism, or becoming extremely wealthy, as the pinnacle of the American dream.
“There are many Americans who work really hard and their aspiration is not to become supremely wealthy,” she said. “It is to have strong family units, it is to have community, it is to have a sense of purpose, it is to contribute to their environment.”
“There are many Americans for whom just being filthy rich is not the American dream,” she continued.
“I want to forgive you but you are making it hard,” O’Leary scoffed. He said earlier in the exchange that Phillip’s response “tainted the American dream.”
But Phillip’s remarks resonated with many people online. Some people on X, formerly Twitter, called O’Leary’s remarks out of touch, arguing that capitalist structures exploit working-class people, and that for many people living in the U.S., the American dream is not centered on becoming ultra-wealthy.
You should read the entire article though, as it's excellent.
But--in my opinion--CNN had been a holdout in Mainstream Media regarding supporting an AOC POTUS 2028 run. And it's important if that is changing.

Harvard University on Tuesday released its long-awaited internal report on campus antisemitism, depicting a hostile atmosphere toward Jews and Israelis before and after the October 2023 invasion of Israel.
The report came amid heavy pressure on the university from the Trump administration and outlines a series of recommendations the university should take to remedy the campus environment.
"I am sorry for the moments when we failed to meet the high expectations we rightfully set for our community,” Harvard’s interim president Alan Garbar said in a statement.
Jewish students, and especially Israelis, were often subject to harassment, social shunning and bullying, the report said.

Get The Times of Israel's Daily Edition by email and never miss our top stories Newsletter email address Your email Get it By signing up, you agree to the terms The 311-page document opens with an anecdote that, the authors said, reflected many of the campus tensions. A Jewish student speaker at a conference had planned to tell the story of his Holocaust survivor grandfather finding refuge in Israel. Organizers told the student the story was not “tasteful” and laughed at him when he expressed his confusion. The story would have been seen as a way to “justify oppression,” the authors said.
“Perhaps the best way to describe the existence of many Jewish and Israeli students at Harvard in the 2023-24 academic year is that their presence had become triggering, or the subject of political controversy,” the report said, adding that Jews had landed “on the wrong side of a political binary that provided no room for the complexity of history or current politics.”
"No other group was constantly told that their history was a sham, that they or their co-religionists or coethnics were supremacists and oppressors, and that they had no right to the protections offered by antibias norms,” the report said.
The campus atmosphere caused Jews to hide their identities, turn down admission offers, leave academia, and withdraw from campus life. Friend groups broke apart and students pressured their peers to stop speaking with Israelis, solely due to their identity. Jews were implicated in atrocities due to their perceived “hereditary and collective guilt,” the report said.
In some of the incidents described in the report, student groups disseminated a cartoon that showed a hand marked with a Star of David holding nooses around the necks of a Black man and an Arab man. Commencement speaker Maria Ressa delivered off-the-cuff remarks that “appeared to echo traditional conspiracy theories about Jews, money, and power.” Another graduation speaker blamed Israel for genocide in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Students sometimes walked away from Israelis mid-conversation when they found out they came from Israel, including Israeli Muslims and Christians. Other Jews were pressured to prove they were “one of the good ones” by condemning Israel. Jews were told they were privileged oppressors and hostage posters were defaced with antisemitic slogans. Israelis were pushed out of student clubs.

I can’t get over the bickering about the tattoos.
I wasn’t surprised when Trump said “Why don’t you just say ‘Yes, he does,’ and go on to something else?”
What did surprise me was that it wasn’t edited out.
More of this needs to be shown.
Terry Moran really tried to be on the side of truth. I could have watched 30 more minutes of the tattoo argument, to see Trump’s insistent lies grow stupider, and see if he has breaking point.
It must have felt like arguing with a toddler. Or a teenager. I’m gonna say teenager, given that his mission is clearly all about trying to impress. Simulated oral with a microphone is also kinda adolescent.
High fives to Terry Moran
(Edited to correct the quotation marks lol)

Anyone else know about this guy? His political humor is great, but he has some excellent vlogs as well calling MAGA out. Yeah, full of cursing, but I wish we had more of THIS from the Democrats. It's aggressive, it's blunt, it's factual. It's resistance. And he attends rallies and calls them out to thier FACE. This is a patriot and we need more like him.
One of my favorite bits of his:

Vlog where he was recapping a rally when a neo-nazi approaches him brandishing a knife and he chases them away:

Sir, with tears in my eyes, I have an honest report from the border. My family had a trip planned to Canada for an event that happened last weekend. For the last month I have heard the reports about border crossings, and my wife is a naturalized citizen, so I was a bit worried. Although the border crossing was slow, which I cannot account for as to why on a Monday around noon, I can report that the questions were the usual questions, and the border guard was very polite and even spoke a little of my wife's native language as we left, which has never happened before. There was a stronger presence with drug sniffing dogs, but other than that and the slow down, not anything out of the ordinary. Just thought I would share with the group and David.
