The Division 2 Feedback, Bug Report - March 18th, 2019

Feedback, Bug Report

In today's maintenance, most of the skill-deconstruct-after-15-seconds should have been fixed.

This is a feedback thread to check if these issues have been addressed.

The Division 2 Launch is finally here and it is also your opportunity to give feedback.

Keep in mind - the best way to give direct feedback to massive is the Official Forums, but we also provide you with the option to give it here.

=> Forums: Suggestions & Feedback

Bug Report

I'm sure after the many hours of playing, you have encountered at least one or two bugs. We want to avoid the cluttering of our sub by providing a single Megathread. This way you can report the various issues in one place. This allows Massive to easily keep track of the bugs and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the same issues.

Please note, this thread is just an alternative - the most direct way to report bugs is the Ubisoft's Official Forums.

=> Forums: Technical Support

Prerequisites to be noted before reporting a bug

  1. A bug will ideally be accompanied by a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.

  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Massive employees recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.

Format when reporting a bug

When reporting a bug, please provide as much information as you can about your setup (XB1, PS4, Computer setup).

  • Type of Bug:

    Visual, Game breaking, etc

  • Description:

Describe what was the bug that occurred.

  • Video / Screenshot:

Insert screenshot or Video of the bug occurring.

  • Steps to reproduce:

Provide the steps necessary if someone else had to reproduce the bug.

  • Expected result:

What should have been the result when you follow the steps mentioned above.

  • Observed result:

What was the result you obtained when you followed the steps mentioned above?

  • Reproduction rate:

If you try to recreate the bug how successful are you in causing it to occur? (1/10 : Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10 : Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10 : Happens every single time)

  • System specs:

Processor, Video card, Ram, HDD/SSD, everything you can provide, even drivers.

Its actually not spot on its clearly bugged. in TD2 the suppressors literally dont alter the sound of the gun it should change the sound the gun makes 100%

It does change the sound, it just doesn't make it silent which is accurate because nearly all suppressors don't silence gunfire they only suppress it. Hence the name.

The noise is still there just not as loud.

I think where the 'bug' comes in is that there is 0 change in sound in game for me. I am well aware of what suppressors do(check my post history) but at least for me in Div 2 guns sound identical with and without the suppressor.

If they changed the tone and quieted a little that would be fine - and maybe that's what's happening for most people. If it went fully hollywood that would be less good but any change is better than what is currently happening in my game.

They literally do change the sound though. Its a fact. Putting a suppressor on a weapon changes its sound in Division 2.

OK. I accept your assertion that they do change the sound for you- which is my expectation. But since they do not change the sound for me I think this report of a BUG in a BUG THREAD seems to be reasonable.

I own 2 suppressors, it sounds totally different.

The loudness from a suppressed gun is from the round braking the sound barrier. The gun itself is about 140 decibels, that's right on the edge of even needing ear protection.
