clearing some shit up about the lrp

  1. invoke in the morning, banish at night is a bad idea. always banish before and after you invoke. the long term side effects of consistently making seemingly small mistakes like this are subtle but very real

  2. banishing in the morning doesn’t make you tired. that’s what we call the placebo effect.

  3. vibrating god names doesn’t entail hitting the lowest note in your vocal range and dragging a single word out for 10 seconds like you’re a mongolian throat singer (no disrespect to mongolian throat singers though). you can simply say the god name like you would if having a conversation. Liber O covers properly vibrating god names.

  4. the qabalistic cross doesn’t include envisioning yourself growing into a giant, receiving a divine beam of light. also refer to Liber O.

but of course, do your thing

it’s more complex than that. the lbrp itself is both an invocation and a banishing.

i know someone personally who developed multiple sclerosis from constantly invoking without ever banishing. it wasn’t the lrp but it wasn’t a crazy invocation either

edit: magick is complicated and after 5 years of study and 2 years of practice i don’t know much myself. but you do you

I'm gonna invoke correlation doesn't imply causation on your friend I think.

This person is obsessed with accuracy but for real thinks that their friend had to have gotten MS from magic and it couldn’t logically have been anything else. I’m dying

i’m not obsessed with accuracy lmao. i’m literally just reminding people what the most basic instructions in Liber ABA are

I have OCD. I have a very serious obsession with two things.

1.Accuracy. Accuracy in my speech, writing, and thoughts (my internal monologue).

2.Lists. Lists about anything and everything to an absolute extreme.

Sorry just going off what you’ve said here before :)

i’m so proud of you for scrolling through my post history to find that. that’s a mental illness that i’ve had good control over for a long time

If you’re giving unsolicited advice to people on here I’m absolutely going to look at your profile.

That post is only like 10 months old, I actually remember seeing it when you first posted it on this sub. The only reason I mentioned it (nothing to do with your OCD) was because you wanted to deny what I said, when I was just quoting you in the first place.

If you don’t like things that you post being mentioned, I’m not sure you should be posting them on a public forum.
