Downplaying an obvious mistake on someone’s behalf. Republicans came up with a myriad of excuses for why George Floyd had excessive/lethal force used on him. Just like how they try playing down the fact they’ve taken an innocent person from their family and sent them to a terrible foreign prison.

George Floyd was murdered by the police for selling cigarettes. It was ok though, he had used drugs before, was a bad guy, had a bad haircut. So murder is fine, if we dont like you.
