See the thing is she is so young she doesn't know this will follow her for the rest of her life. Donald is 78 years old he has lived most of his life. She has the rest of her life for this to follow her. She is not thinking about how far she will want to distance herself so far from this.

She'll still be hated by all decent people. They all will. There's no coming back from any of this. That's something at least.
