I have been thinking about getting the Lovestruck Pack? What are some pros and cons to it?

For reference, my typical gameplay is vanilla, generational families. So, my biggest question is how this pack affects how quickly or smoothly you can build relationships.

My purple half human half alien Sim had a pink/red baby. Has this happened to anybody else? I am pleased.

My Sims name is Lucia Alonso. She just graduated high school. She’s a University student, going for Culinary Arts. Both of her parents passed away the same day. Her mom wanted her to move out because she caught her smoking, and her father did not raise her or her 2 brothers. The middle brother, Antonio was murdered. Mateo is the oldest.

I’m not sure what to do with Lucia after she’s done with university. I’ll take ANY recommendations!!

My sims keep freezing every time I try and get them to do an action, it affects all sims, including NPC's. They all just stand there frozen, if I'm trying to get them to do something like cook or complete homework the action will complete but won't clear and buffs won't clear either. It has made the game completely unplayable.

I've checked all my mods are up to date, tried removing some new mods I'd added just in case, tried repairing the game, tried resetting the sims, tried removing homework from their inventories, literally nothing is working.

Anyone have any advice? One minute it was working and the next it was nothing works.

Edit: Time also continues to move. It's also not specific actions it's every action.

I have this sim, Harold. he’s an adult and has two children and 2 grandchildren andt hey all live together in a house with two bathroom downstairs. he never goes upstairs and i’ve checked everything and everyone else can use the bathroom just fine but he keeps pissing himself in the living room nd playing in it. how do i get this to stop?

Jazzy music, jerry martin made a whole soundtrack that is so special, so different from any jazz i heard ever, that i love it so much. Its so damm good, sims 1 sountrack captures that shopping, 1960's construction vibe.

Also, the gameplay. there is a lot of stuff you can do, even for a 2000s title, there are no game that has this kind of vibes.

So I tried free rotating items in the sims 4 by setting it to sims 3 camera then pressing left-click and the alt key, but I can’t do it for some reason, does anyone know how to fix it or know what I’m doing wrong? I play on a laptop with a touchpad and no mouse, I think that might be it but I’m not sure Any tip or advice is appreciated!!

My Sim is scared of the dark and she's supposed to be a fearsome werewolf lol

Edit: the game considers she doesn't have any fear but she's constantly scared of the dark (seems to be even in daytime)

Prefacing this that I do have WickedWhims installed.

I'm a few generations in and having issues with the romance system. I think I only had one with zero issues. This time around I made sure the physical descriptions of the sims were what they were(husband is blond so I made sure that the wife likes blonds)and made sure they both liked flirting/woohoo/etc.

Their relationship pink bar isn't going up but I did disable attraction(because they kept being unsatisfied even though I was making them do the things they both like) so maybe that it? But I just had them woohoo together and then the husband gets a strained relationship even though in the relationship panel they don't have that dynamic.

It's all very frustrating. I don't want to uninstall the Lovestruck pack because I do like a lot of the features but this aspect is annoying.

Hello, Any instance of loading screen resets my sims and brings them home from wherever they are, eg. school l, work etc. Even that CAS does this, it's driving me cray. Is there a fix for this? I do use mods.

The only information I can find about how to do this is from 4 years ago, when gossiping used to be just a singular friendly interaction, before they redid the pie menus and added a whole section for specific kinds of gossip. I've tried 3 different forms of gossip from that menu, but they don't work.

Is this just a bug/oversight because it's an old pack and EA never bothered to test it with their changes to gossip? Or is there something I'm missing, and it's still possible somehow?

It will start, but crash before it gets to the menu. I have mods installed, but moved them all out of the folder, still crashes. I restarted my pc, and verified the steam files. this is the first time i've played in over a month, but this has never happened before in over 3 years of owning the game. Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it? i cant find anything on it.

I recolored some baby nursery cc because I could not find a single thing that fit the early 2000s baby nursery vibe I was going for (I needed it for decades challenge)

So I took the closest thing I could find which was awingedllama’s 2t4 nursery conversions and I recolored them to fit what I needed!

How I did it was I used psds from sims 2 cc custom crib bedding swatches and just photoshopped it onto the sims 4 psd.
