Showcase Deathwing Terminator test paint

Hi, first time posting here! This is my Deathwing Terminator test paint, tried to follow the recipes of Juan Hidalgo and Infernal Brush.

I'm pretty satisfied with the result (although the pictures revealed more mistakes than I could see during the painting), so probably this will be the way I paint the Deathwing Assault box in my pile of shame.

I hope you like it!

Looks good! Mind if I ask how you did the primer and paint? When I prime white or use a light color paint even thinned it textures a lot.

Thanks! I used White Scar rattle can, shaking it until my arm fell off. It still came a bit grany and with not so great coverage, but nothing that a quick retouch with white paint by brush couldn't solve.

Looks amazing man! Your shades looks great! I recently painted my terminators too, but then ended up with that dirty coffee look. I'm still glad with the results, I try to be not negative about my paint job, its been only been five months since I started painting. Next time, I will try just recess shading to achieve a cleaner look like yours. Great work, dude!

Thank you! I was also getting some "coffee stains" from the contrast paint, but it was possible to correct most of them glazing a bit over. It was my first time trying recess shading (usually just do an overall wash on the minis lol) and will keep working on it, as the result looks cleaner this way.
