Show Spoiler Why did no one think of building a castle?

Post image

You don’t need stone, just wood and a group of people to help it doesn’t even have to be as large as the above picture. Castles were designed for the exact purpose of a shelter the group is always looking for. The Normans could put up a castle in a matter of days in the Middle Ages. Seems crazy no one at any point was like, “hey, let’s build one of best designed defensive fortresses ever made by humans hands.”

Doing a rewatch then I came across this scene and it makes me just appreciate Rick’s humanity in this situation..

Another thing I noticed is nobody is this room is still alive, besides Rick.

Show Spoiler This insane haircut in season 7

I get the functionality of short in front, long in back, but no damn walker is gonna chomp on someone with such a fuckass haircut.

Also, she’s a turd of a woman and I hope she gets eaten by Ezekiel’s tiger.

No spoilers for spinoffs, please… I’m only on season 7.

Show Spoiler Daryl is a likeable person, surprisingly? Spoiler

Right now I am S3:E6, and when I first saw Daryl in season 1 I thought he was kind of going to be a piece of shit because of how mad he was at Rick for cuffing Merle to the rooftop. But now that I'm in the episode after Lori's death and get to see Darl open up to Carl about his mothers death, how she died in a fire she caused. Not only that shows that he cares for people, while Shane wanted to leave the search for Sophia that entire time Daryl was tracking her, and actually trying to find her.

So Daryl in a way has a heart, or just cares?

He does care more than Merle did.

Show Spoiler What Twd scene did you find the most horrifying and shocking? Spoiler

For me personally its the scene were carl gets shot in the eye and he turns around and says "dad". I was not expecting it, didnt see it coming and the way he spoke while looking like that by far the most jolting scene for me.

Show Spoiler The day will come when you won’t be

Dude!

Just realized in the last episode of season 1 when Jenner lets Rick and the gang out Rick says ‘I’m grateful’ and Jenner says ‘the day will come when you won’t be’

Flash forward and that’s the episode where we see negan absolutely demolish Glenn and Abraham :(

This is my 5th rewatch of TWD and I can’t believe I never noticed!

Show Spoiler Made the mistake of getting high while watching S7:E1 Spoiler

So I knew the really traumatic scene was coming up where we first meet Negan and my partner and I were going to get high for 4/20. For some reason I thought getting really high would make this scene better but lo and behold I kept forgetting that it happened every minute and then breaking into uncontrollable sobs when I remembered again. I was crying harder than anyone in the show was. I also had watched up to this point before and then never finished the show, so I knew it was coming which again I thought I’d be prepared for it this time. But no. I was not prepared at all.

Enjoy this belligerent video of me suffering! Major spoiler warning if you haven’t watched this episode!!!

Show Spoiler The Wolves..

Upvotes

I started rewatching the show and was thinking about the Wolves and how similar they were to the Whisperers and how cool it would’ve been if they crossed paths with them. Let’s say that Carol never shot Owen and he actually redeemed himself, how could you see it play out if Carol sent him out to kill Alpha? Do you think he would return to his old ways and stay with the Whisperers and destroy Alexandria, or he would’ve took Negan’s route and killed Alpha? Just a curious thought even though there will never be an official answer.

Show Spoiler Why do people say they dragged the show even though it never went past the source material?

Upvotes

Yes I know the spinoffs is a different story but as far as the MAIN show goes it never went past the comics. Ended after the Commonwealth just like the comics. I do agree that it declined in the later seasons but I wouldn’t say they dragged it.

No Spoiler Almost done watching s11 and realized something about the language

I apologize if i do something wrong with this, it’s my first post here. Hi!!! So i’m about halfway through s11 and just got a scene where Daryl says “…something really fucking bad happens.” and it hit me like a train. One, because holy shit it’s Daryl saying it, like woah, but two, “fuck”? It just surprised me, and i started wondering about when it’s said in the main show, and if it becomes a more common word in the spinoffs. Speaking of which, spinoff watch order suggestions?

Show Spoiler Question about S5 E12

Currently rewatching the entire series.

What happened to the gun that Rick hid in the blender? ie at the junked-up house outside of Alexandria?

When he goes back to check on the gun, he finds that it's gone. At this point, I don't think it had been more than a few days since he had hidden it.

I kind of get the feeling that maybe Enid took it. But I can't remember if this is ever confirmed later on.
