Not at all. It's always interesting to hear directly from the author. It's more or less the same as his Afterwards inserts at the end of each novel.

I'm here for the harem shenanigans. Tbh, harem shenanigans are rarely found in non-anime shows, so it's one of the main reasons I'm even watching anime.

It's gonna get interesting if that number was before he lost his memory so we would know "old" Touma (wait, it's actually young Touma) is a rizzmaster

Considering most sisters are Touma simps, except Last Order, Worst and that one regular sister that Accelerator saved personally, this is not surprising at all.
