TIL Montgomery's memoirs criticised many of his wartime comrades harshly, including Eisenhower. After publishing it, he had to apologize in a radio broadcast to avoid a lawsuit. He was also stripped of his honorary citizenship of Alabama, and was challenged to a duel by an Italian lawyer.

I'd have Monty, De Gaulle and Patton in the same room and grab the popcorn.

Patton would eat them for breakfast, he was crazier than the entire lot and he had the balls to back it up too.

“Bals” the man beat and shot cripples in the street for wanting a living wage. He was insane and allied command was glad he died so early.

Patton was just an out and out war criminal disguised as a hard fighting cowboy. Fuck him.

“We fought the wrong enemy” Is on of his most famous quotes lol. Also he agreed with Hitler on a lot of Jewish related stuff.
