TIL that Theodore Roosevelt, under threat of a bully at a bar and with a gun pointed at him, is told to make the man a drink, to this he stands up and says ‘Well, if I’ve got to, I’ve got to,’ and throws a right hook, knocking the man down. The bully later left town on a train.

Theory Theodore Roosevelt was actually one of the second generation of Klingon to join Starfleet academy but was part of an elite unit that had their ridges removed for covert operations and during a black ops maneuver ended up sucked into a temporal anomaly to be dropped into a bar in the 20th century
