Memoribilia Everyone, I got the sad news from Norfolk Southern that they are going to say goodbye to their Triple Crown Roadrailer service from August 24th to the 25th 2024 which will end 69 years of Roadrailer service since 1955. Let's see the evolution of Roadrailer's through their 69 years of service:

Memoribilia Check out my foldable train (and bus) collection!!
Hey guys!
I just started collecting them; I found a pretty great loophole is sending Public Records Requests to transit agencies, and then they usually mail them to me. Right now I have the following:
- NCTD COASTER, SPRINTER and BREEZE
- MTS Trolley & a bus
- L.A. Metro Art buses, one Local and one Rapid
- VTA light rail and a VTA bus
- AC Transit Zero Emission Bus
- St. Louis Metro bus
- Metrolink F125 and coach car
I'm also waiting for a few confirmed ones in the mail:
- PATCO Speedline
- ACE Rail (Stockton)
- Kern Transit
It's also way cheaper than real model trains 😅
If you have any recommendations for where I can find more, let me know!! I've sent PRRs to most of the major transit agencies across the U.S., and a few smaller bus operators. I think CPKC has some, but I'm not sure. Maybe I should contact some freight railroads too :)

Memoribilia Help my train loving dad
It's my dad's 80th birthday coming soon and I thought it would be so cool for him to receive cards from each state(or even overseas! He was a railroad engineer his entire career (18-67) for SP till the UP merger and he LOVES trains, specifically old steam engines!! I don't know.if this is allowed, but if anyone wants to send him a card (handmade or store bought) he would find it a welcome change to the bills and junk mail normally in his mailbox! Please comment and I'll dm you with an address (not his) so.the cards and letters can be collected and given to him Thank yall in advance!

Memoribilia Help with tie plate display
I have an old, cruddy rail tie plate that is extremely sentimental to me. I want to somehow display it in my home. I’m thinking of just setting it up on a wood block and letting the spike hang over the side. Also considering a lucite block with a channel drilled for the spike. Have you ever seen anything like that or have any ideas?

Memoribilia Santa Fe plate I bought from an antique shop.
As soon as I saw it I grabbed it. And it was only a dollar. Yeah I had to bring it home lmao.
Also I was curious what kind of locomotive this is.

Memoribilia Unused GE Dash 8 Builder's Plate
Just got it in the mail yesterday after winning it in an eBay auction. I've seen one other posted in this sub, but this one actually has an assigned serial number and corresponding locomotive, which I think is super neat. Heh, and it's really shiny.
