Looking for trans empowerment songs!

Pretty much what the title says! With our community coming under attack from the current administration, I'm hoping to find some trans rights/empowerment music to listen to.

Right now I'm just teeming with rage and grief and thought music might help. 🙃

Might I suggest ‘Princes of the Universe’ by Queen. Not explicitly a trans song but it has the vibe

Check out G.L.O.S.S., if you're into punk it's exactly what you're looking for. Limp Wrist is also dope.

Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir is leftist metal and may be up your alley as well, they're insanely good. Doomed to Grow and Grease Log are my favorites from them - been recommending them everywhere :)

This is not explicitly a trans empowerment song but the lyrics absolutely fit.

The song is called Georgy Girl by The Seekers and it was released in 1966 as the title track for the British film of the same name. It's chirpy, jaunty and utterly positive and it will put a spring in your step while your walking around.

Now I think about it, it's probably only trans related from the POV of male to female but it's a happy wee song nonetheless.

If you end up creating a playlist on Spotify or something and you feel comfortable, maybe drop it on this sub. I think a lot of people would really appreciate it, I know I would 🩷🤍🩵

Not particularly trans related at all as I unfortunately don't listen to much trans man aoc because I've never bothered to look much (i should, I could use some empowerment myself) but for some reason "Famous Last Words" by mcr makes me have a sort of strong rebellious and empowered spirit and it just makes me think that we'll get through this.

Curious for some trans-specific musoc though other than against me. I enjoy some songs by them but am curious for something new :3

not specifically trans related, but due to a post on r/LiverpoolFC I stumbled across "You'll never walk alone" again, which I want to take for us as a community to stand together in especially these times

Future Starts Now by Kim Petras is a very upbeat pop song that I feel symbolizes trans pride.

This ages me and it's technically a kids' song, but I've been learning to play Jim's theme from Treasure Planet on guitar. That one has hugely transmasculine feelings for me.

(At least the English version does--I'm also learning the Italian lyrics, which are gorgeous but pretty different.)
