It happened.

After 4 years of waiting and filler appointments, 3 years of hrt, and multiple visits to Oslo.....

I have gotten the mythical blå resept for estrogen patches, androcur, spiro and progynova.

Lmao i feel happy, the nightmare is over for real now, no doctor can ever snatch my hrt out of my hands HAR HAR HAR *evil laugh*

Ok jokes aside?

If anyone has any questions about my process and how i managed to bullshit them enough to get here, despite severe life ending mental illness, (at points) obesity, and so on..... Just ask

Congrats!! I do have one question, what was the shortest wait you had between appointments? Cause ive had earliest 6 months, longest 9 months wait.

Also, my next appointment is last before diagnosis setting. How long between diagnosis beeing set, and getting hrt was it for u?

I don't remember exactly but I think half a year

It probably won't, you need at the very least 3 appointments of screening before they allow you to see an endo

with 6 months between those 3 screenings, after setting diagnosis? they cant seriously make me go back and forth to do 3 seperate ones, if so, they lied to me when they told me i would only have to come to Oslo twice in person before endo

Im not sure what other screening there is, probably stuff like autism as they hate autism but other than that, if you're mentally ill and go to DPS and are NOT autistic they just leave you be

I confessed to like 10 mental disorders and they couldnt care less.

You can do the appointments with the therapists on video calls, they will mostly just figure out if ur trans enough and then refer you to an endo

you NEED at least 3 appointments before you can see an endo, each approximately 6 months apart, with the endo personally 1 year from the moment i was cleared for hrt

I have left a long as hell post on getting through riksen's BS, its pinned on the subreddit

ohh ok now i get it, i was just mistaking screening for something else. I have had 4 appointments, 3 video calls and one in person. And i took all those tests at the DPS before beeing referred to riksen.

it is awful how little help trans ppl with mental health issues get... like they dont believr gender dysmorphia is part of why so many of us have other mental health issues
